About me and my practice
My work is grounded in the psychodynamic approach and attachment-based practise, which means looking at and understanding how your past experiences impact your current realities. I also apply cognitive behavioural and humanistic modalities to inform my practice.
Just as importantly, our sessions are conducted in a safe, secure and non-judgemental space that fosters trust. Working together in this way allows you to move forward towards achieving clarity, self-empowerment and your authentic self.
Experience
You will find my manner warm, understanding and focused on meeting your goals in counselling. My years of therapeutic experience includes working and volunteering in the field of mental health in NHS IAPT and in psychodynamic settings. I also have a background in social work with individuals and families.
Some of the many mental health and personal issues I have worked with include Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Relationships,Trauma, Bereavement,Depression,Cultural issues, Loss, Redundancy, Self esteem, Stress, Work related issues.

Initial Consultation
I offer a free 20-min initial online [zoom] conversation with no commitment which will allow both of us to discuss the potential of working together. During this conversation I will ask for a brief description of what you would like to work on in therapy and some background information. If you wish to set-up a consultation, please email me.
Fees
My fees are £50 per session. Sessions last 50 mins and are payable prior to or following the counselling appointment.
When I Work
My working days and evenings are Monday through Thursday.
